How the numbers stack up
| Measure | As of 9 Sep 2026 | Year-1 target |
|---|---|---|
| Applications received | 147,504 | - |
| Applications approved | 53,127 | 50,000 homes |
| Value approved | Rs313.42 billion | Rs321 billion |
| Disbursed | Rs45.43 billion | - |
| Applicants paid | 8,739 | - |
Our read: approvals are close to the year-one target in both count and value, but disbursement is running at about 14% of the approved value. The binding constraint is property verification, which is exactly what the September property survey is meant to address. Applicants should expect the wait to be in title and valuation, not in credit approval.
