Parwaaz Card Apply Online: Portal Steps

Apply for the Parwaaz Card at parwaaz.psdf.org.pk: register with your CNIC and a mobile number in your own name, verify it with the code sent to you, upload your overseas job offer, medical certificate and skill documents, then submit and keep the reference number. Applying is free, and verified applications are reported to take about 7 to 10 working days.

What to have ready

  • CNIC, front and back, scanned clearly
  • Your overseas job offer letter from the employer
  • Medical fitness certificate
  • Skill verification or trade certificate, where your job needs one
  • A mobile SIM registered on your own CNIC
  • Details of the licensed promoter handling your case, if you have one

Scan documents so every line is readable. Unreadable uploads are the commonest reason a file goes back to the applicant.

Step by step

  1. Step 1

Open parwaaz.psdf.org.pk. Use only this address, because several look-alike sites exist.

  2. Step 2

Choose applicant registration. Promoters register separately on the same portal.

  3. Step 3

Enter your details: name as printed on the CNIC, CNIC number, mobile number and district.

  4. Step 4

Verify your mobile number with the one-time code. Never share that code with anyone.

  5. Step 5

Complete the application: personal details, job offer details and employer information.

  6. Step 6

    Upload the documents listed above.

  7. Step 7

Submit and save your reference number.

  8. Step 8 · Final step

Wait for contact. Shortlisted applicants are approached for verification; the processing target reported by officials is 7 to 10 working days for complete applications.

The Parwaaz Card application process has been digitised end to end, with application, processing and tracking handled through the PSDF portal, and officials say complete, successfully verified applications are expected to be processed within seven to ten working days. Applicants may apply directly or through an overseas employment promoter registered on the same system.

Applying through a licensed promoter

Registered promoters can submit on behalf of a worker, which helps applicants who struggle with online forms. Two rules protect you:

  • The promoter must be licensed and registered on the scheme's portal.
  • The loan itself pays the promoter's legal fee. You should not be paying it in cash on the side, and you should never pay an amount nobody will put in writing.

Mistakes that delay applications

  • Name spelled differently from the CNIC
  • Mobile number registered to someone else, so the code never verifies
  • Job offer missing the employer's details or signature
  • Medical certificate expired
  • Applying before the offer exists, in the hope of getting one later
