Apni Chhat Apna Ghar Status and Balloting
Check an Apni Chhat Apna Ghar application by logging back into acag.punjab.gov.pk with the CNIC and password you registered with; the dashboard shows the stage your file has reached and "Approved" once you are selected. Selection runs through verification and balloting rather than first-come-first-served, and the helpline 0800-09100 answers queries on a tracking number.
Where to look
| Channel | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Portal dashboard | Application stage, document requests and approval status |
| SMS to your registered number | Key updates, including selection |
| Helpline 0800-09100 | Queries on a tracking number |
| Deputy Commissioner office desk | Help for applicants who registered offline |
The stages a file passes through
-
Step 1
Submitted. The portal has your application and tracking number.
-
Step 2
Document and identity check. CNIC, family record and uploads are reviewed.
-
Step 3
Land verification. Ownership and possession are checked against land records.
-
Step 4
Poverty score check. The household's NSER/PMT score is matched against the cut-off of 60.
-
Step 5
Balloting. Eligible applicants go into the selection round for that district.
-
Step 6
Approved. The dashboard shows approval and the bank takes over for disbursement.
-
Step 7 · Final step
Tranche release. Money follows construction stages.
Apni Chhat Apna Ghar does not approve applications in the order they arrive. Eligible files go into balloting, and selected applicants see their status change to approved on the portal dashboard, with district lists and SMS notifications used to inform them. An application can therefore sit as eligible but unselected without anything being wrong with it.
Reading a stuck application
| What you see | Likely reason | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Still "submitted" after weeks | Queue, or documents not yet reviewed | Call the helpline with your tracking number |
| Rejected on score | PMT above 60, or no NSER record | See PMT score and resurvey |
| Rejected on land | Plot not in your name, no possession, or over the size limit | See plot and ownership rules|
| Eligible but not selected | Balloting round filled | Keep the application active for later rounds |
| Approved but no money | Bank formalities or construction stage not verified | Contact the Bank of Punjab branch named in your approval |
What nobody can do for you
No agent, consultant or private website can move an Apni Chhat Apna Ghar application up the queue, influence balloting or release a tranche. The programme is free to apply for, and the only channels are the official portal, the 0800-09100 helpline and the district registration desks. Requests for payment, OTP codes or remote access to your phone are fraud.
Keep your record clean while you wait
- Keep the registered SIM active; approval messages go there.
- Do not transfer or sell the plot while the application is live.
- Update NADRA records if your family status changes.
- Note every call: date, who you spoke to and what they said.

Does a site visit happen?
Verification of land and construction stages involves checks on the ground; the published material does not set out a fixed visit schedule.
